As I continure to struggle with getting back on the PADwagon, I wandered into the Renwick Gallery today.
I have a confession. I really dislike art galleries. Lots. They bore me. I go in and usually manage no more than a half hour there. True to form, I was only there for about a half hour. But it was a fun half hour.
This is the Grand Salon. In the 19th century private collectors displayed their collections in this manner. It made for a very impressive sight. The impact of the room is really difficult to explain. I hope in some small way that this shot captured the sense of granduer I felt.
